The Design, Anthropology, Ecology Research Hub includes research projects and activities that explore the dynamics of human-Earth relationships found in local and indigenous knowledge systems and embodied in cultural crafts. The hub investigates the contemporary value of traditional technologies that have evolved sustainably over centuries or millennia and which offer crucial insights into how better to live within planetary boundaries.

POST-HUMAN FUTURES

The Post-Human Futures Research Hub is about to be formed. It will explore the relationships between human and digital technologies, including AI, from philosophical, political and practical perspectives, to ask questions about what it means to be human now, what it might mean in the future, and will consider issues around authorship, ethics and the potentialities and responsibilities of the creative industries for human and planetary futures.
